AT Roca ‘Costers de Vinya’ 2018


Vinification: 50% Macabeu, 50% Malvasia de Sitges, 10% Xarel-lo from organically farmed vineyards at high altitude on calcareous, gravel and limestone soils. Hand-harvest, fermentation for 25 days in stainless steel, 5 months aging on the lees.

Character: Deliciously summery but structured white. A breeze of maritime salinity backed by tropical fruits. Aromatic on the nose with everything from oysters, pineapple, mango, ozon (rain in the summer smell), some mint and a hint of yellow flowers. On the palate all these elements are pulled together and its limestone salinity pushed to the forefront.
