De Venoge Champagne Cordon Bleu Brut


Vinification: All De Venoge Champagnes are produced with Premier and/or Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes and the finest Pinot Meunier grapes, of which only the cuvée (the first soft pressing) is used. After second fermentation the wines are allowed to rest sur-lie for a minimum of three to four years.

Character: The ‘Cordon Bleu Brut’ is a beautifully vinous, Pinot Noir-dominated Champagne. Mature aroma’s of baked apple, citrus, chalk, toasted yeast and butter. Tight and crisp on the palate, with a creamy and persistent mousse. Light and delicate enough to drink as an aperitif by itself or with oysters, but also the necessary substance to accompany more elaborate seafood dishes.
