The domain has been making beautiful, fair Limburg wines using traditional methods since 1994.The Müller-Thurgau is a fresh, juicy wine with some minerality, made from a grape developed by Professor Müller from the Swiss canton of Thrugau. One of the few grape varieties from a laboratory that turned out to be a keeper! The Brut Rosé is made from the grape variety Bacchus, named after the God of Wine. And the drunkenness … The sparkling wine is made in the champagne method and has many pleasant notes of red fruit such as raspberry and strawberries. Wijngoed Thorn Frühburgunder 2018 & Late Harvest Pinot Gris 2016This red wine comes from the slightly more northerly situated Thorn, the so-called White Town just below Roermond. The frühburgunder is an early-ripening variety of the pinot noir, also known as pinot madeleine. This grape variety is also liked to be used in the northern wine regions of the German Ahr, because it takes just a little less time to reach full maturity. The wine has been raised entirely on stainless steel. The intense red fruit, such as cherry and blackberry, really comes into its own. A delicious juicy glass!The Pinot Gris is a classic dessert wine made from very late harvested wines, over which the noble rot has gone. This results in no less than 89 grams of residual sugar. The abundant acids ensure a good balance. This is called a dessert wine, but also fantastic in combination with pâté or foie gras!
