The Puligny-Montrachet vineyards produce the most refined wines of the Côte d’Or. The Bonnardot plot is planted with 80 year old vines, on a stony slope, allowing natural drainage. The height of 330 meters at the center of the slope is surrounded by forests, which brings a diversity of flora and insect fauna.

Soil: Calcareous clay soil

Exposition: Southeastern

Vineyards: 80 years old vines; 0.2 hectares

Vinification: Manually harvested and sorted. Prolonged and careful pressing of whole clusters. Fermentation in barrel, without sulphite or other additives.

Maturation: 18 months on barrique. 13%

Taste note

The nose is rich and aromatic with refined exotic fruits such as papaya and green mango. The texture is oily and viscous, but the finish is subtle and elegant with nice length in acidity and a stony minerality of wet pebbles.
