Castello della Paneretta ‘Chianti Classico’ 2018 (West Italy – Tuscany)
In the traditionally best part of Chianti, called Chianti Classico, there are winemakers who have never compromised on the quality of the wine. Castello Della Paneretta, which we have been working with for almost 5 years, is a good example of such a winery. The castle is exactly halfway between Florence and Siena. It is certain that wine has been made at Paneretta since 1596. Their style of wine is deeply concentrated and well flavoured with the use of barrel ripening. An indulging red wine with, ripe and seductive.
Noelia Ricci ‘Il Sangiovese’ 2019 (Middle Italy – Emiglia-Romagna)
Il Sangiovese ‘Predappio’ is a wonderfully juicy and pure interpretation of Sangiovese. The floral character is combined with a serious undertone of earthy terracotta structure and an invigorating pepper. The juicy cherry fruit and balancing acidity characterize the elegance of a classic Sangiovese. The wasp on the label represents the biodiversity in the vineyards. But it also refers to the bite that will make your palate quiver.
Pietramore ‘Montepulciano d’Abruzze’ 2014 (East Italy – Abruzze)
100% Montepulciano from the Abruzze region. Pietramore produces certified organic/ biodynamic. This central region in Italy is the most important area for the Montepulciano grape. The wine style resulting from the Montepulciano is earthy and mineral. Notes of blackcurrant and dried spicy notes such as rosemary and thyme give volume and concentration. The 2014 riserva shows a nice evolution, with fine integrated tannins.
