Lise et Bertrand Jousset Exilé Blanc 2017

In 2017 the vignerons in the northern hemisphere have been tormented with hail and frost in early spring. Many lost a big percentage of their crops. Creative growers like the Joussets reached out to interesting alternatives. They came up with their Exilé wines. For this Exilé Blanc their wasn’t enough Chenin from their own vineyards and so they added southern grapes from befriended growers in South France. The result is a fruit driven, exciting Chenin, with some luscious, exotic plumbness. Warm, savoury and with a quenching power.
