Meet the Winemaker: Markus Drautz
Wednesday 8th of November we organise a winemaker’s dinner at Dining27 together with Markus Drautz from Wurttemberg, Germany.
During this dinner we will showcase the broad range the family Drautz Able produces: sparkling, white, red and sweet. A mix of traditional styles but also more structured partly from known grapes like riesling and sauvignon blanc but the local star of the region: Lemberger will also get a stage.
Being part of the HADES ‘project’, they work with French barrique (small wooden barrels) for both fermentation and aging. The group consists of 5 top producers that work in this way with a unique approach compared to others.
The wines are very suitable to pair up with a gastronomic menu. The equip led by Colette Bekenkamp from Dining 27 created a special 7-course menu for this evening including a wine pairing with every course.
