Unique event at a stunning location! Saturday the 8th of July Chabrol organizes an event at a unique location in Friesland. Together with Dirk & Tijn from @verlan_amsterdam who will serve a fantastic lunch. Long tables filled with the specials of Dirk and his team in the form of a 4-course lunch. Besides Café Verlan, Laurent Dumont from @champagne.dumont will be present to pour his Champagne upon arrival. We will make a special wine list of approximately 25 wines that you can order per glass and per bottle. Rare gems, back vintages but also Chabrol Classics will be poured. The costs are 100 euro per person, included in this amount it’s the lunch and glass of Champagne, wines can be ordered individually.

Champagne tasting 🍾🥂 To celebrate the addition of two new producers from the Champagne region we organize a tasting on saturday 6th of May. Rex & Pia visited the region last month and discovered Domaine de Mondeville run by the Dumont family and Adam-Mereaux, both to be find on our shelves since a few weeks! Introducing Champagne Dumont, a winery from Côte des Bar with 7 generations of wine-making expertise. Laurent rejoined the familie 4 years ago creating his own label within the familie business. They practice biodynamics and prioritise sustainability while producing 4 Champagne varieties and 1 red wine - a rare gem. Their vines grow on Champignol terroir with clay-limestone soils like Chablis and Sancerre. We are very exited and can’t wait for the 1st order to arrive. Stay tuned for instore tasting!
