Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss
Antoine Kreydenweiss is the producer of many a staff favorite here at Chabrol-HQ, ever since he took over the Alsatian domain of his father Marc, a famous pioneer in biodynamic viticulture. From the sleepy village of Andlau Antoine operates this esteemed Domaine with terroir-diverse holdings in the surrounding hills, among which the three Grand Cru’s Kastelberg, Wiebelsberg, and Moenchberg. No fan of rich-but-electric, lip-smackingly salty white wines that wear terroir rather than variety on their sleave should miss these often very age-worthy wines.

Since1999, the Domaine des Perrieres has been the ideal place for the Kreydenweiss family to indulge their passion for red wines. And thanks to their Alsatian know-how, they pay personal homage to the grape varieties of the Midi.
They have been fascinated in the oldest of them all, Carignan, as well as Syrah and Grenache, the great grape varieties of the Rhone Valley planted from the beginning of the 20th century. And they quickly added Mourvedre when they acquired the estate.
Emmanuelle and Marc Kreydenweiss have worked to express and share the exceptional “vibration” of this place as fervent supporters of biodynamic viticulture.
Since 2017, their son Jean Kreydenweiss has returned from New Zealand, and given a new energy to the estate. He inspires it with his style and perfect the cuvees.
Grimaudes, Perrieres, L’Envol, assemblage or single variety, and do not forget the orane wine Or Ange wine, each wine sings to the soul of the land in its own way.
