In Trittenheim, along an impressive bend of the Mosel river, lies the centuries-old domain where Eva Clüsserath-Wittmann makes her delicate but precise white wines. The Clüsserath family has been in the wine business since 1670, but it is under Eva’s reign that their output has truly climbed the ranks of international esteem. All of these wines are marked by her loving care of the sometimes ancient slate-soil family vines and her exceedingly patient vinifications on old wooden Fuder.
