Athenais de Beru Savigny 1er Cru Les Lavieres 2018

76.78

Capturing the quiet heartbeat of Burgundy, where elegance and untamed nature move in harmony. The aromas are of ripe red currants and pomegranate, layered with rose petals, sous bois, evoking a walk through the woods after rain. On the palate, supple tannins and a bright, clear acidity bring balance and clarity, allowing the fruit to unfold with graceful transparency. A persistent mineral finish lingers like a ripple across still water. It deepens with time, revealing a tender, contemplative soul.

The Pinot noir planted in 1954 in Savigny Les Beaune, halfway up the slopes, facing South-South-East. Fermented with whole bunches in wooden vat, aged for 18months in Burgundy pieces, neither filtered nor fined.
