Straw yellow with subtle golden accents. On the nose, aromas of yellow peach and apricot, flint and orange blossom, with notes of Mediterranean scrub. Upon opening, aromas of lime and lemon emerge. On the palate, it is an intense, fresh, and savory wine with refreshing citrus fruit. The taste lingers for a long time, leaving behind refined notes of almond, eucalyptus, and lemon peel.

Description
Cantine di Marzo was founded by Scipione di Marzo in 1647. He fled his birthplace, San Paolo Belsito, and settled in Tufo. There, he started his wine estate, which has remained within the family to this day. In 1866, it was discovered by chance that the area was rich in sulfur. From then until 1980, the wine company was actively combined with a sulfur mine, which employed as many as 500 people. This brought great prosperity and gave the di Marzo family a prominent role in the region. Throughout the centuries, several members of parliament and senators have come from the di Marzo family.
Today, the wine estate is under the leadership of Filippo di Somma. His mother was a di Marzo. He runs the company with his son Ferrante and his daughter Maria Giovianna. Together, they aim to produce the best Greco di Tufo and to bring all the wines to a level that reflects the 400-year-old tradition. Cantina di Marzo is one of the oldest wine estates in Italy and the first to produce Greco di Tufo. In 2018, their Greco di Tufo received Tei Bicchieri from Gambero Rosso.
The estate comprises 23 hectares. The vineyards are situated on hills surrounding Tufo at an altitude between 250 and 500 meters above sea level. The soil consists mainly of sulfur, clay, and limestone. Almost all vineyards face southwest.
