About the distillery
1998 Luciano Brotto and his son Nicola founded the CentoPerCento company, seated on the Montello, a hilly region north of Treviso, in a corner of high historical and natural interest. Luciano is not only carrying forward his family hundred-year tradition of distilling but has also turned into a researcher and innovator to add value to a product, which is deep-rooted in the Veneto culture. CentoPercCento’s distillates are different from the traditional ones because their production has a modern conception, and the methods of distillation, invented by Luciano and Nicola themselves, are new, original and exclusive.
About Prosecco
Prosecco is a synonym for a white grape that takes its name from a county in the province of Trieste. Originally called “Pucino”. It probably dates back to the time of the Roman Empire when its wine was particularly appreciated by Empress Livia Augusta. Today the production area of Prosecco includes a territory of 15 counties and extends to the hills North of Treviso between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, where this grape variety has been produced for at least 300 years. The Prosecco of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene carries the D.O.C. label and is subject to rigid rules and procedures of production.
