Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi
Along the Adriatic coast on the eastside and the Apennines mountain range on the Westside, the vineyards of Castelli di Jesi profit from a sublime situation. The salinity together with a mouthwatering herbaceousness makes the Verdicchio a truly giving and complete grape variety. Wines that show the terroir of the Italian, luscious, gastronomic culture.
Bucci an agricultural company with a long history
The history of the Bucci family goes back centuries. As in the past, a variety of crops are still grown on the estate, grain, beets, olives, onions, corn. But the family has also been involved in the production of wine for generations. Only since the early 1980s has the estate’s wine been bottled under its own label. That turned out to be a very good decision, the quality is exceptional and the wine has been received more than well!
For more focus, Bucci did not opt for dozens of cuvées. Only four different wines are produced and all are of a very high standard. The man who started this is Ampélio Bucci. A charming and cheerful businessman and professor of language and communication science. But before everything, he is a farmer and winemaker. His respectable age of 80 plus years doesn’t show a bit. This man is a man in the midst of life, full of energy and enthusiasm.
