Vila Voltaire ‘Gros Grains’ 2021

13.21

This is a wine made with a great glouglou-factor. Spicy and juicy, with a great pepperiness. The Gros Grain refers to the grapes Aramon and Cinsault (80/20). The Aramon, nowadays an less familiair grape used to be planted widely in France. Providing thick juicy grapes with a high yield. Cinsault has the same feature and might be a bit simple if the vines are still young. But when you keep the yields low the juice is still fluent, but added with and refreshing spice.

The Gros Grains is made with minimal intervention. Indigenous yeasts and no added sulphur. Drink slightly chilled 15/16 degrees Celsius recommended.
